THE STORY
A little leaf dreams of reaching a distant tree, but there’s just one problem: she is afraid to jump.
What if she falls? What if she can’t make it? What if the wind doesn’t help her?
One day, she decides to try anyway.
Her journey takes her through rain, storms, exhaustion, unexpected challenges, and new friendships. Along the way, she discovers that being brave doesn’t mean never feeling afraid. Sometimes, it means taking one small step or one brave leap even when fear comes along for the ride.
A heartwarming rhyming story about courage, asking for help, friendship, and discovering that sometimes the journey matters more than the destination.

BEHIND THE STORY
The Brave Leaf was born from a leap I was afraid to take.
For years, I had built a life that looked good from the outside. I had a career as a software engineer, a family, a home but somewhere along the way, I had forgotten how much I loved writing.
After becoming a mom, stories and rhymes slowly found their way back into my life. And eventually, I reached a point where I knew I needed to try something new, even though I had no idea where it would lead.
I was scared. I questioned myself. I worried about making the wrong choice.
Then I realized something: maybe I didn't need to know where I would land. I just needed to take the leap.
That's where the little leaf came from.
She is the part of me that was afraid but moved forward anyway. Her journey became a way to explore something I believe children and grown-ups need to hear:
You don't have to stop being afraid before you begin. You can be scared and still take the leap.
And sometimes, the journey takes you somewhere more meaningful than the place you originally planned to go.
